Needlepoint for Children

When I heard about the Wizard of Oz series of Limoges boxes from Julia’s Needlepoint, I wasn’t that enthused. They sent it to me anyway and I can’t believe I would have turned it down. The box has so many wonderful images from the classic movie—flying monkeys, ruby slippers. The Emerald City, the Yellow Brick Road and the balloon that was to take Dorothy home among others. What a great gift for a child you may have been lucky enough to watch the movie with—or for an adult with fold memories of this wonderful film. It would also make a great tooth fairy box that can be kept and enjoyed when the tooth fairy no longer needs to visit that special child.

I love the idea that the tooth fairy will be able to easily find the tooth and leave the loot behind without disturbing the child’s sleep.
